Research into similar products: Different magazine for conventions


Masthead- the mast head (blender) stretches across the page with the image crossing over. The mast head is essential to all music magazines

Main image- the main images takes up the centre of the magazine and stretches from bottom to top over the mast head leaving room on the sides for text. A main image is required for a magazine front page.

Main cover line- the main cover line links to the main image and is clear to see because it’s larger and in a different font to other cover lines. The main cover line is needed on all magazine front covers.

Sub cover lines- the sub cover lines are on the right, they are not essential but it does give your magazine more content to attract more customers.

Bar code- the bar code is needed to make the magazine official.

Left third- the left third is clear to see because the font and colour is unique when it is combined so you can see that it is “blender”


Colour scheme- the colour scheme is blue and white which fits the house style.
